THE MISSION

The mission is to help you feel good. The mission is to empower you with the information you need to be able to continue this one well after we are finished working together.

The principles of Mitch's Kitchen are simple. Do the things and do them enough times until they work. Clients overestimate what they can achieve in 4-6 weeks but completely underestimate what can be achieved in 4-6 months.

You can completely alter the direction of your life and your health with the right tools, coaching and accountability.

I want to create long-lasting bodies and habits that you can take with you for the rest of your lives.

Nutritionist, Strength & Conditioning Coach

Food and Nutrition is something that has always interested me from a young age. My mum always got me to help in the kitchen and taught me how to cook simple things well. I loved being in the kitchen!

I was a kid that was allergic to lots of things growing up and my parents always tried to tackle it the natural route before taking any drugs, a belief I have carried on with me. I battled with serious migraines from the age of 14 until I was 18. They were debilitating and I missed a lot of school with my inability to see, speak or understand while I was experiencing one. After years of doctors attempting to give me pain-killers, eventually I was taken to see a Naturopath.

Working with a naturopath got me to understand that there was more to food than just taste and smell. After weeks of food elimination, it was discovered that the preservatives in a lot of cheeses were the culprit and therein lay the beginning of my relationship with nutrition.

Years later as I finished university and needed to shift the 10kg+ I put on drinking like a fish and occasionally attending class, I fell back on what I knew. I hit the gym and ate as nutritiously as I could. I soon after became certified in Strength and Conditioning running a functional fitness gym in Newstead, Brisbane for 6 years. Thus started the obsession with learning how to eat in the most optimal way for performance, mental health and longevity.

From there it was back to University, this time to study Nutrition to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to help impact more people the way my life was impacted.

Ever since I have been helping people take control of their health through specialty nutrition coaching. Each client is different, each case is unique and our work together is to understand which route is right for you.

Welcome to Mitch's Kitchen.
